Multiple technical and maintenance positions are now open for skilled professionals with relevant industry experience.
These vacancies are ideal for candidates with strong backgrounds in plant maintenance, mechanical, electrical, marine, heavy equipment, and lifting operations. Applicants must have previous experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry and possess good communication skills in English.
Available Positions:
1. Mechanical Design AutoCAD Draftsman
Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector. Applicants must be proficient in AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, and Plant 3D software. Experience preparing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Isometric Drawings, General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Material Take-Off (MTO), and As-Built Drawings is essential. Knowledge of international piping standards and engineering codes is also required.
2. Diesel Mechanic
This role requires a Diploma in Internal Combustion Engine Maintenance or an equivalent qualification along with 10 or more years of experience maintaining heavy-duty diesel equipment. Candidates should have hands-on knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, steering systems, brakes, and lubrication systems. Experience working with cranes, forklifts, pay loaders, and shovels is highly preferred. Holding a heavy-duty driving licence will be an added advantage.
3. Lubrication Technician
Applicants should possess at least 5 years of Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience in lubrication maintenance. The ideal candidate must have expertise in rotary equipment lubrication, oil analysis, lubrication management, hydraulic systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
4. Rigging Team Leader
Professionals with 8 to 15 years of experience in lifting operations are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include supervising rigging activities, preparing lifting plans, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring safe execution of lifting operations according to industry standards.
5. Heavy Duty Driver / Operator
Candidates should have valid TPI and PTS approvals along with QE-certified Crane, Forklift, or Manlift Operator certifications. Experience operating Grove, SANY, and Terex mobile cranes ranging from 40 to 120 tons is essential. A valid Mobile Crane and Forklift licence is mandatory.
6. Electrical Technician
Applicants must have 5 to 7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. Experience working with generators, 3.3KV switchgear, motor control centers (MCC), UPS systems, transformers, motor-operated valves (MOVs), and explosion-proof (Ex) equipment is required. Candidates with EPTW qualification will be given preference.
7. Oil Spill Responder / Senior Oil Spill Responder
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of Oil & Gas or Marine experience. Mandatory certifications include H2S, T-BOSIET, and Basic Rigging. Previous experience responding to marine or industrial oil spill incidents will be highly valued.
8. Maintenance Technician
Applicants with 5 or more years of experience in Oil & Gas or Marine industries are eligible. Experience in diesel engines, marine engines, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance is required for this role.
General Requirements:
All applicants must have relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry experience. These positions are available only for freelance visa holders currently in Qatar. Candidates should possess good verbal and written English communication skills and be physically fit with a valid medical fitness certificate.
