This opportunity is suitable for mechanical professionals with hands-on experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, ammonia, urea, and process plant maintenance. Candidates with strong mechanical maintenance experience in industrial process plants can consider applying for this position.
The contract is initially offered for 1–2 years, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Position: Mechanical Technician – Mechanical Process Plant (Ammonia/Urea)

Candidate Requirements:
The company is looking for skilled Mechanical Technicians who have practical experience working in demanding industrial environments.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience. Experience in process plants and heavy industrial facilities will be particularly relevant for this position.
Experience in one or more of the following sectors can be beneficial:
- Oil & Gas
- Petrochemical plants
- Fertilizer plants
- Ammonia plants
- Urea plants
- Process plant operations and maintenance
Applicants should be familiar with mechanical equipment maintenance and routine plant maintenance activities. Practical knowledge of rotating and static equipment, maintenance procedures, equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance can be valuable for this type of role.
Mechanical Technician Responsibilities:
A Mechanical Technician working in an ammonia, urea, or other process plant environment may be involved in a wide range of maintenance activities.
Typical responsibilities can include inspection, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment overhauling, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment.
Depending on the assigned area, technicians may work on equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, valves, heat exchangers, pipelines, and other process plant machinery.
Technicians are also generally expected to follow approved maintenance procedures and safety requirements while carrying out maintenance activities. Working safely around operating process equipment is particularly important in Oil & Gas and fertilizer facilities.
Experience with shutdown and turnaround maintenance can also be useful because process plants regularly require planned maintenance activities to maintain equipment reliability and operational safety.
