A leading Oil & Gas project in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is urgently looking for experienced Valve Technicians to join its maintenance and technical operations team. 1. Senior Valve Technician:
The Senior Valve Technician position is suitable for experienced professionals who have strong technical knowledge of industrial valves and can independently handle maintenance and repair activities.
Key Requirements:
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in valve maintenance and repair
- Strong hands-on experience with industrial valves
- Knowledge of ball, gate, globe, butterfly, check, and control valves
- Experience in valve dismantling, inspection, lapping, assembly, and testing
- Knowledge of hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
- Ability to identify valve defects and carry out appropriate repairs
- Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or refinery projects is preferred
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification
Senior technicians should be comfortable working with different types of industrial valves and following established safety and quality procedures during maintenance and testing activities.
2. Valve Technician:
The Valve Technician position is suitable for candidates with solid practical experience in valve servicing and mechanical maintenance.
Key Requirements:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience in industrial valve maintenance and servicing
- Experience in valve dismantling, repair, and assembly
- Knowledge of leak testing procedures
- Practical experience in lapping and seat grinding
- Experience with packing replacement
- Knowledge of hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
- Previous Oil & Gas experience is preferred
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Candidates should have good practical knowledge of valve components and be capable of carrying out maintenance activities efficiently while maintaining workplace safety and quality standards.
