The selected technician will support the client’s core offshore crew during a Produced Water Cooler Plate Exchange and will also be involved in NORM-related decontamination activities.
Key Responsibilities:
The Offshore NORM Mechanical Technician will work alongside the client’s core crew to support planned mechanical maintenance activities offshore.
One of the main responsibilities is assisting with the Produced Water Cooler Plate Exchange. This work requires technicians to follow established maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and offshore operational standards.
The successful candidate will also perform NORM decontamination activities. Since produced-water and oil-and-gas processing equipment can potentially contain naturally occurring radioactive material, technicians involved in this work must understand the relevant NORM control and decontamination procedures.
